Sending Huge File Attachments Via Email: A Problem No More!

And just when you're in the middle of hectic dealings, trying to send a humongous file to your clients or to your boss to beat your deadline through any regular email service, you get this notification... What the.. !?

FRUSTRATING isn't it?

So what you do now is send the files by batch, perhaps by seven or eight, or if you are lucky enough, you can send ten files in one email. But let's say you have more than a hundred files to attach and send. That would be a huge hassle on your part, and not to mention, very time consuming.

Been there, done that and I could only sigh a loud "Haaaay!" But well, you might wanna kiss me after reading this blog entry (don't worry, I am not committed to anybody yet, of course at the time of this writing) because of my generosity for sharing this information to you. Let me introduce (drum rolls please...) FILEMAIL! Tah dah!

But before myriads of questions would come rattling around your head about it, let me tell you a little bit about this mail service.

From the name itself, Filemail is a mail service that allows huge file attachments sent via email. It is a hassle-free and convenient service that allows YOU and ME and everybody else to send, and at the same time, receive HUGE files in just a fast, effortless and secured way... and the best thing about it is, you do not need to register for an account or become a member to take advantage of their service. I am not a member of that site myself, but I frequently use their services without shelling out money from my accounts. That's right, it's definitely FREE!

Now, don't get me wrong, I never received payment from Filemail to do this blog entry. This is neither an advertisement, just an informative article to let you know about their service. Why? Simple! I just love using their service and that's all! No strings attached.

With all my online businesses that are always on the go, I couldn't afford to waste time just to send multiple and huge-memory files to my students (I am an English teacher, by the way, and teaching online is just one of my numerous rackets online), to my clients (I am also a writer who provides different types of articles to website owners and SEO specialists, among others...), and to my customers (Well, I also do buy and sell online...), among others.

Filemail was conceptualized in Oslo, Norway, during the summer of 2008. Just like most of us who have experienced several dilemmas in sending file attachments via ordinary email services, the founders of this particular mail service are of no difference to what we've been. Thus, they "decided to develop a solution that was so easy to use," that with it's user friendly system, even those with very low TQ (technical quotient) and those who came from the abacus era could use the service and go through the process easily and quickly.

In their aim to provide more practical add-ons and features that are not yet offered by other email services, Filemail founders designed their solution with the following features:
  • Does not require any registration or membership to send files
  • Possesses a high upper limit on file size - 2 gigabytes!
  • User-friendly that any normal e-mail client can use it with a smile
  • Offers the possibility to give a single-click on several files and send them at once
Thus, with their practical and convenient solutions, Filemail has already come a long way since their beta-released in January 2008. This just proved that cyber technology is getting way much better, and more so with the release of Filemail in the online world. And before I close this entry, let me give an ounce of moral... (just like any children's storybook does)

Time is too precious too be wasted... Thus, "Time is GOLD" already sounded too cliche for me that I do not adhere to it anymore, because for me and in my cyber world, coupled with all my online businesses, "Time is DIAMOND"! Therefore, it's important to waste no time at all. Try Filemail and they will help you save our Diamonds.

I Am... (The Reflection)

The entity arises in the pedestal where the crowd’s eyes locked upon the angelic petite façade publicized to them. Mesmerized by her wit and charm, amazed by her out-of-this-world flair and the liberalism of her perception, fascinated by her sharp looks and mysterious grimaces and astounded by the hard-shell of a personality that shielded such delicate fascia, neither would doubt nor could ever decipher the reality of her being. The androgyny in her persona frequently calls out to everyone making her aura attractive regardless of their sexual characteristics.

Her wacky jokes and laughter, cheerful and almost nonstop chit-chats brighten people’s drab moments. Her strong, stern yet hippy and liberated leadership style draws the team to her side like tiny shreds of magnetic metals. Her sophisticated, mean and unapproachable, sometimes weird guise may repel prospective acquaintances. However, first impressions always never last.

Soft yet brutally frank and outspoken; it's simply credited to her "I'm lucky" childhood and independent secondary life pushed by her early encounter of life's turbulent waters. No wonder, she could be everybody’s greatest dream and worst nightmare.

Nonetheless, jumping into conclusions instantaneously or even judging what the eyes revealed from the frontage is futile. It may be as delusional as the soft and pleasant face of the girl smiling mysteriously from beyond the reflection of the mirror in front of you. So, behold what lies beneath the silver magical thing that reveals her charming but tough appearance to the naked eyes. It will always remain mystifying to people. Know her. She’s your best friend or your worst enemy. She will always remain an enigmatic reflection in the mirror. She will always be Tyra!

A Robber in a Decent Attire

Mary Anne, a school mate, theater sorority sister and simply a friend of mine was on her way to school on board a multicab (a mini jeepney-type of public transportation in Cebu, Philippines that can accommodate eight to ten passengers).  She was wearing her university uniform – a white female dress shirts-type of blouse with V-shaped neck line and an A-line type of navy blue knee-level skirt. It was just one of those normal weekdays where she heads off for school in the morning.

A few blocks away from where Mary Anne hopped into the multicab, a man clad in dark (almost in black shade) decent dress shirt also got into the multicab and sat beside her. He took the seat at the left side of my friend. The man looked like he was in his early thirties or late twenties but he seemed to look older than his average age because of some darker spots on his neatly trimmed face.

His hair was neatly in place and the dress shirts he is wearing (it looks like he has a white inner shirt) is also tidily pressed and looks really presentable. He looks like any respectable man with an office-type of work. Mary Anne even assumed that he’s a medical representative because of the type of brown leather suit-case-type of hand bag he’s bringing.

When Mary Anne reached school on General Maxilom Avenue, she just realized that her big wallet with all her identification cards, ATMs and school allowances were gone, and to make things worse, she found out that there was a big tear on the left side of her bag. Later did she realized why the presentable-looking man in dark and neat dress shirt covered his hands with his brown hand bag. She also realized that while on the multicab earlier, she felt slight movements at her left side.

She just ignored the idea of being robbed because she didn’t suspect a well-dressed man to do such crime. It was very unlikely of a robber to dress up well, because their usual features are rugged and badly-dressed in ordinary-looking shirts and faded denim pants.

A simple rule that we should keep in mind, do not judge a person by the way they look. Sometimes, the security we felt in prejudice is like a lion dressed in a lamb skin.

Wrangler’s “My Fit My Edge”

With over a century, they have conquered the fashion industry in terms of providing denim clothes, garments and accessories to all parts of the globe. In fact, Wrangler has been one of the world’s three biggest denim brands.

Wrangler is founded in 1909, and “it was launched as Blue Bell by a work wear company specializing in overalls. It catapulted to fame when it took the name Wrangler (Working Cowboy) in 1947, becoming an iconic American denim brand that has delivered outstanding denim innovation and authentic craftsmanship to this day.”

In the contemporary times where fashion is directed to a concoction of comfort, action, style and personality, “Wrangler advances its expertise in denim, interpreting the meaning of fit” in a way that embraces both the wearer’s body and personality, thus, suiting to every person’s lifestyle and clothing needs.

This year, Wrangler brings in a whole new charisma to its brand, bringing in the “My Fit My Edge” concept to embrace the fashion and style demands of the people all over the world, most particularly in the Philippines.

“The My Fit My Edge campaign features Ace, Stokes, Crank and Molly, each with its own character fit for you to choose from. With these you can define your unique edge and be a sure stand out.”

Furthermore, each masterpiece are added with unique characteristics -- cool and being laid back -- which are some of the adjectives that personify its relaxed edge with clean pieces and basic cuts.

“Stokes is a class act lady who exudes a sophisticated demeanor with classic silhouettes and tailored pieces. Crank is that rugged lad that comes on strong with eye-catching statement shirts and leather jacket. Molly, the outgoing cosmopolite whose energy radiates from 10 feet away, flaunts a stylish edge with a few feminine pieces and a ton of charm and attitude.”

Last May 13, 2011 (Friday) at 6:30 PM at the Atrium of SM Mall of Asia, several fashionistas and fashion brands participated the fashion show event and found their best fit, and flaunted their edges with Wrangler’s Four Fits Collection. This was featured on the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011. For more information about Wrangler, please visit www.wrangler-ap.com and http://www.facebook.com/WranglerPhilippines.
